Astec are pleased to service a broad range of customers including Grampians Health Service including their Aged Care and Community based programs, Pinarc, Ballarat Specialist School, various Support Disability Accommodation Homes, Department of Veteran Affairs, TAC, Workcover, also local industry and private scooter and wheelchair users.
Many of these organisations are involved in our Maintenance Program for servicing of equipment including ceiling tracks.
Our Custom Solution team customise manual and electric wheelchairs, vehicle modifications, minor home modifications and electronics are specifically to suit each individual client.
Our long association with Magic Mobility, Permobil and Ottobock allows Astec to extensively consult with each client for chair construction that will fully suit their needs.
We also stock one of the largest range of mobility scooters from Shop rider, Invacare, Merits, Permobil and Trek Electric.
In conjunction with Occupational Therapists Astec design and produce many ‘one off’ assistive items.
Clients and their OT have access to Astec’s onsite meeting room to assist in testing and viewing equipment.
Astec stocks one of the largest range of Daily Living Aids in regional Victoria in their vast showroom in Ballarat.
Astec features a large modern workshop with trained technicians who also carry out mobile serving throughout the Western region from Melton to Hamilton, Bendigo to Corio.
Repairs and Servicing
Astec offers maintenance for a vast range of equipment including beds, lifting machines, scooters, ceiling tracks, alternating air mattress, wheelchairs, hoists in vehicles, manual hoists and mobility equipment.
We are pleased to be able to tailor our service procedures to suit individual clients needs.
Astec servicing is in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards hence you know your equipment is safe to use. All our technicians continually complete update training on our range of equipment.
We carry a large range of spare parts for machines and equipment. We are also able to source parts for many different brands of equipment.
Ever increasing range of spare parts means Astec are able to repair your equipment in minimum time with inconvenience to our clients.
Astec are authorised service repairers for the Molift range of products.
Hire
Astec have the largest in-house range of hire equipment throughout regional Victoria. We are able to deliver, set up and provide training of all equipment.
Hire can be for short or long term dependent on your needs or funding requirements. Need your equipment for longer than anticipated? No worries Astec can process payments over the phone to extend your hire.
As a NDIS registered supplier we are able to provide and process claims through the NDIS portal.
